My child is turning 13 in August 2025, do they have to pass the Mountain Lakes Swim Test to attend camp?
Yes, all campers who are 12 and under at the time they participate in camp, must pass the swim test.
Can my child attend both the morning and afternoon Sailing camp session during the same week?
Yes!
What should my child bring to camp each day?
All campers must have their own life jacket, sunscreen, water, beach pass, and swim test badge.
Do you sail in bad weather?
Possibly. We generally sail in light rain, however if there is lightning and thunder, the lifeguards clear the beach and campers wait in the Pavillion for it to be safe to return to the beach.
If a camp day is cancelled due to weather, is there a makeup day?
The makeup day for a specific camp week is the Friday of that week, however, there is no make-up for the week of June 30 – July 3.
Does my child receive a t-shirt?
Yes! All campers receive an annual ML Sailing Association t-shirt. Our theme is new each year!
